Savoidakis Bakery and Patisserie joined forces in creating a new baked goods range.
And it was our task to design the visual identity of these delicious products so that they would stand out on the shelf in grocery stores in Greece and abroad.
Guided by their philosophy of “quality comes first, no matter what we do” we were to name the new range, develop the strategy, visual identity, positioning, and packaging design that could accommodate their ever expanding range of baked goods.
So the challenge was to create a packaging design that would be easily recognizable as a brand, yet would still leave plenty of room for different products to be introduced into the range.

Olimera means “all day” in Greek.
It stands for the fact that these products can be consumed at any point, as part of breakfast or a meal, or as a midday snack.
Dressed in white, the primary choice of color signifies the wholesome and pure ingredients used in the products.
We added a light color palette to further accentuate the freshness associated with the bakery.
The key to our branding approach is the handwritten typography style.
Every single character is handcrafted, giving the packaging a personalized and homey feeling, while also differentiating among products within an ever expanding range and achieving shelf standout.
Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
