A monograph of one of the most prominent Danish artists

Let’s take a journey into the  work of J.F. Willumsen (1863-1958), by Birgit Weylandt. The monograph was published by The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Architecture in 2012.

No items found.

In order to eliminate any visual information and draw the focus on the artist’s prolific work, we followed a strictly minimalist approach in the design of the monograph.

Our chosen palette followed the colors mostly favored by the artist.

Pink, yellow, green and black run consistently through the book and the paintings of the great expressionist.
